It's a quick urban fantasy about a PI, not a Private Investigator but a Preternatural Investigator, who gets kicked out of a big city job to work in a quiet/quaint town in Maine. This was a rapid read with all the stereotypical plot points. The main character is ousted from a secret society, and someone wants him dead. There is a potential love triangle (possible square) in the future. The "quiet" town is entirely of preternatural (supernatural, but then you can't use the play on words of PI) beings/occurrences. Overall, it was OK, and I will give the next one a shot.
