This was another story from Penny Reid with so much depth and so much to the story! There was a lot going on with both of the main characters. Again they came from the same hometown, but he didn’t seem to remember her until one of his friends kind of clued him in to it. I totally understand why she felt the way she did, but I did get frustrated with her for a lot of the story. One thing that did confuse me a bit as I read was that her full name wasn’t Beth, that’s not weird or anything. But unless I read too quickly, I never really understood why all of a sudden her full name was the title of her chapters. I feel like maybe it would have been nice to have that with more of an explanation sooner or something. Overall the story was really great, and I loved their stranded in the snow time, with the snake hiding places, etc. One line that cracked me up was “Hearts are stupid. So are penises.” As usual Penny comes up with some of the funniest stuff.

I am definitely looking forward to the third and I believe final book in the series after getting some more time with that character in this one.
