definitely some great insight into how john thought about his kids, his wide gap in understanding his youngest, and a great resource book for supernatural fanfiction writers who wish to use canon lore for casefics. could have had more about the family dynamics--it seems that john only writes a lot on certain days of the year, and I would have loved to see more of his day to day observations on sam and dean.
