There’s nothing better than going into a book with no expectations and it becoming a new favourite.
This book made me want to pick up all the classic books that were talked about, transported me right into 1939-1940, and for the few minutes I had to put it down I was anxious to get back to reading. Not only has this become one of my absolute favourite books (might be in my top five) it’s also become my favourite historical fiction book.
