Emily Henry just has enormous skills at snarky banter that makes you smirk and laugh one second, and the next it’s insightful and deep vulnerability that feels like either a hit to your gut cuz you get it or you want to reach out to the character yourself. 

Really relatable and loved both Miles and Daphne, but also Ashleigh and Julia. Sometimes the supporting characters are just as important as the main ones and I loved their friendships. 

Book Lovers is still my favorite of hers but this is probably 2nd. (I was disappointed at the very end with Daphne but as a whole I loved the book so I’m letting it go. 😉)
