Rowan is dealing with some serious emotional distress that has yet to be resolved. One of my favorite parts of the book is when Keir suggests that Rowan seek professional help to deal with her issues.
The romantic aspect of the story was not as well-executed.The chemistry between Rowan and Keir, who ended up getting married in a seemingly sudden and unbelievable way, felt forced.
I admit I had high expectations for this particular story, especially since I enjoyed the first book in the series. This one just wasn't for me!
