The similarities/inspiration drawn from to Sierra Simone’s New Camelot series are too strong to be undeniable, but it doesn’t make Midsummer any less enjoyable as a read. It’s a story that might take an edge off of anyone’s New Camelot hangover despite the characters not being quite as strong. Looking forward to the next book in the series - hopefully with more character development and some insight into Carter and Miri’s POV’s.
