first discworld i ever read when i was in the target age group and seven years later it is still one of the most solidly-crafted books i've read. maybe because i read it when i was a kid and imprinted on it, but the worldbuilding of the chalk and tiffany's connection with it has stuck in my mind like no other worldbuilding. beautiful and perfect book ❤️
