I don't read a lot of true crime but this one is as good as Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, my favorite in this genre.
A fascinating and detailed descriptions of motives, characters, social enviroments. There's humour and empathy toward the victims.
The author is a talented storyteller that delivers a a gripping and fascinating story.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine
