The Fake Script

emotional
funny
lighthearted
fast-paced
After Auston left for his big career break on the worst day of Emma's life, he's back in town filming a book adaption of Emma's favorite book and it's set in Emma and her friends bookstore!
Caught as reconnecting friends, fake dating is made up between the two of them as Auston's costar is relentless in her pursuit of him and Emma is brought on at a script supervisor to hone Auston's portrayal of the book character.
I kind of actually loved that Alice and Hayley were scarce for most of this book because it got Emma to really get to figure out her feelings for Auston in her own way. The surprises at the end from Auston to Emma and so sweet and swoony and I just love them as a couple!
