Dark Avengers, Volume 2: Molecule Man
by Brian Michael Bendis
Dark Avengers is a fun series. It's that simple. If you don't take it too seriously you're just gonna have fun.
So you still have these batshit insane people all together fucking around and trying to be "heroes" but you know they can't. I mean you have a emotional Venom, a insane Bullseye pretending to be Hawkeye, and a sexy slutty Ms. Marvel. I mean you know this shit is about go upside down. Then bring in Molecule Man who's insane power levels for a baddie and the Dark Avengers are in trouble. They might have Norman as a lead but he ain't no Reed Richards. So who do we call? The Big S, you know him, Sentry to the rescue!
Good: I really do enjoy the banter. It's so fucking funny watching Bullseye be a complete twat to everyone he meets. The fights are fun and flushed out well. Molecule Man makes for a very different and interesting enemy. The ending is exciting and makes me want to read the Siege Event.
Bad: It's very short. 4 issues. Over before you know it. Also the banter, while fun, can get a little excessive and the background to Victoria wasn't all that interesting for me.
Overall still a ton of fun. I really wished this series went on for about 4 or 5 volumes. It makes me laugh, easy to read, and fun to watch. Too bad it's over.
