Incapable by Ainslie Paton

A new story from Ainslie Paton? Woo hoo! Over the past year or so, Ms Paton has quickly become one of my "would read if she wrote the takeaway menus" authors.

You never know what you are going to get with a book from Ms Paton. No cookie-cutter stories from her, it is like a lucky dip each and every time.... and I love it.

Incapable was no different.

Damon and Georgia's story is not always a pretty one, but it is a story of hope, love, loss.

I adored Damon through thick and thin, though at times I wasn't sure if I wanted to clip him around the ears or give him a hug.

You could feel the confusion rolling off Georgia as things from her past continue to affect her today.

Throughout the entire story, I just wanted our lovelies to find their happiness.

I ran through a whole range of emotions with Incapable. There may or may not have been a tear or two shed whilst reading.

I also loved Damon's circle of friends. Through thick and thin, they are there for each other, and there were a couple of their stories that I would love to know more of.

I can't wait to see what Ms Paton brings us next.
