I liked the plot and all the characters, however the slow pace and being written in 3rd person, it took me a while to read this book and struggled to pick it up and keep reading. Both MCs have issues/fears from their past that they're trying to overcome, and their fears end up holding themselves back from getting together. There is a lot of back and forth of 'oh were happy and we'll be together' to suddenly 'oh actually i cant be with you' and honestly I didnt mind it too much but just wished they got together and stuck with it a lot sooner

- small town
- 3rd person
thank you to NetGalley and Montlake for letting me read this book in exchange for my honest opinion
