Her Deadly Touch
by Lisa Regan
Lisa Regan's books are always gripping and highly entertaining but this one is the best I read so far.
It's poignant, heartbreaking at time, full of twists and turns.
It's a mystery but also a book about grief and how it can break a person and the difficult path to move on.
There's a tragedy, there are killings and secrets, lot of secrets.
Berne, the father of the transactional analysis, wrote that any "if only" thought is a way to be unhappy. This story contains a lot of "if only/what if", tragedy, unhappiness, misinterpretations.
Ms Regan is a talented storyteller and the plot and character development are excellent.
Josie is frailer and stronger at the same time, I was happy to read about the team working together and I appreciated the empathy toward all the victims.
An excellent read, highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine
