Aquaman Vol. 4: Echoes of a Life Lived Well
by Kelly Sue DeConnick
Aquaman finishes strong with Kelly focusing on family.
With Arthur first mission to rescue his daughter the mission goes in directions I didn't expect and keeps it highly entertaining. The next two arcs play next to each other and I have to say I was shocked how much I enjoyed Kaldur'ahm this arc and his mission with both his grandfather and then his asshole father. The story ends on a wedding, so it was really nice.
Overall pretty solid sendoff. Not amazing but really enjoyable. Kelly really turned it around as I hated volume 1, enjoyed volume 2 and 3 a lot, and 4 as well. I also thought art worked well and got to let a few characters that were in the shadows to shine. This is the end for Aquaman for awhile but it worked out well.
