I just love a book that follows Lestat he’s such a diva. Idk if I can adequately describe this right now but I think the theme of perspective is very intriguing. Like how Lestat having been a powerful vampire for so long finds the human body to be weak and disgusting, but David being an elderly human finds it powerful. Also I think there’s an interesting discussion around “self” separate from a body as the characters personality doesn’t change despite the body swapping. I like David as a character so I really liked their arc together. Slay for him that he got an upgrade
