This book is talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it.

like... it was just so good.

The characters were written so beautifully and I loved both the romantic line between Yadriel and Julian, and the friendships. especially Maritza was so cool, but Julian's friend group was also very dear to me.

I think the plot twist was brilliant and unexpected, like I was really surprised! The mystery held itself for long and I had no idea what happened until the very last moment. Amazing!

Aiden Thomas did such a great job with this book and I am only sad because I left Subbearer Trial at home and have to actually wait five days to read them, hahaha.
