Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine
by Gail Honeyman
I loved Eleanor! She was so funny but I really felt for her in so many ways. I felt like this book portrayed mental illness (depression) in such a way that helped you understand it better. There are so many things I could say about this book, it left me loving Eleanor and the other characters in her life. It left me sad to say goodbye to her and it left me sad for what she’s gone through in her life! The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that it is a slower book than what I’m used to but I still really liked it. ✨
As someone who is a huge mental illness/mental health and counseling advocate, I really liked this book and I am so excited for the movie to come out!
