I had some issues with this book mainly due to pacing. It starts out right where The Ever King ended. I really enjoyed more of the world building and lore but was confused about some things. Thinking I would have had to read the other series first. I was very invested in the plot and there were times I would skip over some smut just to get back to the plot. It was like 50 pages of a little information that we needed then just Erik and Livia  that we didn’t need. Overall love this world and can’t wait to go back in The Mist Thief.
