Clearly Ms. Slaughter had such a good time writing and researching Criminal for her Will Trent series that she decided to go back to the 70s-era Atlanta. I'm glad she did, because this was a phenomenal ride all the way through.

It was uncomfortable to read in a way that Bomb Girls is uncomfortable to watch - historically accurate and mindblowingly filled with as many 'isms as you can fit into 400 pages.

I cannot wait for the second book with Kate and Maggie. The world always needs more ladies in charge.
