Cheater
by Rachel Van Dyken
Another wonderful read from Rachel Van Dyken. I don't know how she does it, from laugh out loud rom coms to dark mafia stories, she gets it right every time.
Firstly, don't let the title scare you off. Don't let the synopsis scare you off. Don't let the Lucas we initially meet scare you off.
Gees, that makes it sound bad, doesn't it? But it is not. Ms Van Dyken has never let us down yet, and she doesn't start here either.
Lucas Thorn is all sorts of douchey when we first meet him. But as the story progresses you will see there is more than meets the eye.
Avery - gah I just loved her. She is fun, silly, quirky and can come across as a little prudish at times, but she is one of the most adorable female characters I have read in a while.
I laughed, I may have cried, there may have been some anger come out towards characters at times, and there may have been a little bit of swooning going on .
Now I am impatiently awaiting the second book, Cheater's Regret.
