I enjoy reading and learning about new leadership ideas and this one has a few good points. Many of the book's authors reiterate points in their own words so the text got a bit repetitive in places. This book also lacked a wide range of perspectives. Many of the authors came from a military background and provided a military based perspective. Though some of those leadership tools can work in other fields not all of them were relevant.

If you are looking for a book that can help you change gears after a career in the military then I recommend this book. Though it does provide some good tips, the book ends with a dunk on younger generations (millennial and gen z) and much of the information could be found in other leadership books.
