Final Slaughter by Sergio Gomez
4.0

My heart couldn't take it. This book had me all in my feelings.

First off, if you are going to read this trilogy do it all together. I read Camp Slaughter LAST Year and apparently dropped the ball on writing the review.

So, when the old characters from book one were introduced, I had to go back and skim through the first book. No worries though, my memory instantly came back to me, and I was good to go.
In book one Noelle is the love interest of one of the characters that the author made you fall in love with only to murder him in a very brutal and bloody manner.

In this final book, Noelle reaches out to the various survivors/families of victims of my beloved Iggy with the cracked out plan to go hunt him down and kill him in the name of vengeance.

She really thinks running a mile a day and going to the gun range is enough for her to go against Iggy. I rolled my eyes soo hard at the little team she put together knowing they didn't stand a chance.

Now my beloved Ignacio is in the woods. He ran back home after his confrontation with his ungrateful Barbies in the Halloween Slaughter. I was not prepared for El Monstro aka Varis Caras to overtake my boy. He takes advantage of Iggy's emotions and need to recover and manipulates him into giving him full control of their body.

While in the woods the fantasmas visit both Iggy and Varis Caras with warnings of a coming danger.
Now YES, I knew this was the final book. But I refused to believe that this band of misfits could take my boy down. I refused to believe there wouldn't be a final scene where his eye opens or a hand reaches out.

But NOOOOO Sergio meant what he said when he called this the final slaughter. It was bloody, funny, crazy, intense, and emotional for all.

I don't know if I'll be able to recover.
