Julia Dahl had given us another great story, and insight into the lives of Hasidic Jews. Crime reporter Rebecca Roberts takes on the case of an Hasidic mother whose death has been ruled a suicide. Her husband does not believe she killed herself and Rebecca welcomes the chance to learn more about the secretive culture of the Jews in the area because she wants to learn more about the mother who abandoned her at birth. Rebecca reveals a community filled with hate and shows how the strict rules of Hasidism and their desire to not be noticed can effect the lives of those who decide to leave the cloistered world they grew up in.
