I really wanted to like this book. However, I was almost 50% into the book and tried to struggle on but had to give up. It has a good premise that draws you in. The writing was good. However, the character of Emily was so annoying and clueless that I wanted to quit this book long before 50%. It is very unusual for me not to finish a book. There was no true love story between Emily and Adam. There was so much wrong with their relationship that it was unbelievable that they would get married. It would have been more believable if there had been a true romance between them and then things went sour. I am glad others enjoyed the book but it was not for me. However, I did read the ending to see if there was any redemption. However, the ending was not surprising and was actually disappointing.
