Themes: the side characters in a fantasy novel, compulsive disorder, suicide thoughts, eating disorder, neglecting parents, feeling worthless and least liked, anxiety
Cover:
Dust jacket: dark blue with a building and a blue beam of light shining on it
Book: yellow with blue pages, imprinted lettering on the front "Not everyone has to be the chosen one"
Author: never read before, probably not the best starting novel, want to read "A Monster Calls"
Setting: a small american city
POV: first person -> Mikey
Liked: humor, quick read, premise
Did not like: quite boring, did not care much for characters
