This sixth installment unfortunately still features one of Anita's love interests in Richard. This book is filled with relationship and emotional conflicts between Anita, Richard, and Jean-Claude. Eroticism makes a definite appearance in this book. In addition to that, there are issues with the werewolf hierarchy and politics that must be sorted out, which I found tedious, probably because I hate Richard so much. Thankfully, Edward makes another appearance in this book to help get to the bottom of some shenanagins that are afoot. The ending of this book was quite pleasing to me
