This my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it overall. I felt the "hidden" aspect of the romance was a bit much and that Ali could have cut a lot of that out by telling Daniel that the people in her world, save for Briana, weren't worthy of him. Because they weren't. To say more would venture into spoiler territory but yeah that was like the biggest annoyance for me. Still a great read full of warm fuzzies and would reread.
