BIG TW/CW for vegetarians and generally sensitive folks: there is a fairly graphic pig slaughtering scene. I’m not a vegetarian, but it was a lot for me. I think there could have been an implication of what happened and a summary of the butchering without all of the details.

Otherwise… lol … This was so cute! I loved the Shipley family and the grumpy + sunshine trope. I am a foodie so I enjoyed all of the cooking bits too! Excited for the next book in the series!
