If you want a quick, fun, steamy read you should read this book.
I read this novella via audiobook and I did have a problem with the female voice actor, so I suggest it is better to read a physical copy.
I previously read Bound by the Battle God and this couple had such a nice loving connection so I had to read this one.
I liked that princess Halla was older than king Mathior, it was a refreshment since so many books have a relationship of an 18yo female with an older guy. And above all that he waited for her for 16 years.
Some weird wedding customs, but somehow author made it work connecting it to some events in the past of the king's tribe.
