Amazing! This book will make you cry happ and sad tears and also hug at the end. It’s so beautiful to see acceptance and understanding through the eyes of a child because it reminds us that hate is taught and not necessary.

At the time of this manga , same sex marriage was not allowed in Hapan and there is a lot of discrimination. Mike is the husband to (main characters) twin brother. M(main character ) hasn’t seen his brother in a long time and now he is dead. Mike has come to visit and we see a beautiful friendship evolve and the pure understanding from Kanas (daughter) eyes and helped (main character) grow to be more caccelting. There is a lot of grief and discrimination in this but there is also a lot of humor, heartwarming moments, and love.

On my reread I knocked it down a bit just because there was part of the story and the artwork that felt unnecessarily sexual. I know that is Gengorah style but I actually feel like it took away from some of the story.

However I still LOVE this book and I will be finally reading volume 2. All the characters are great.
