Honestly I enjoyed the book. It’s not the best but it’s by far not the worst. I can’t quite make my mind up whether this is an American author who is trying to write a British crime series or if it’s just a British author who has used some Americanisms. There’s small mistakes that have been missed on editing but ultimately not a bad story
