This is such an important book to me. Coraline shows us that ordinary girls can defeat monsters and face their fears. There's nothing particularly special about Coraline right? We probably feel that way about ourselves, too. Well even the most seemingly ordinary people can do great things. Coraline is a fantastic role model for young girls and even grown women, I think. Do yourself a favor and read this book, you won't regret it.
