Defying Gravity
by K.K. Allen
I really enjoyed this book! I loved the mash up of dance and sport, as well as the second chance and best friend’s brother tropes.
Amelia is smart, and capable, and strong. I have to admit, I thought the book was going to go in one direction, but I’m glad it went the way it did. There’s a really important message there.
Tobias is such a great character too. He struggles and isn’t perfect, but that makes things real.
Together, they’re a great couple and I loved reading their story. I do think you might need to read their novella first (which I haven’t) but there’s some background missing which I know is covered by it. Still, this is a great book and I recommend it!
