This was the funniest and darkest book I have read in a long time and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Lex is a delinquent -- but instead of getting into a book where she redeems herself and overcomes her penchant for punching, you are getting into a book where Lex doesn't get any less sharp and instead finds herself working as a reaper of souls. There is mystery and sarcasm and family and strange alcoholic beverages. It is a delight.
