Hidden

Ok...where to begin.
I started reading the House of Night novels a few years ago when I spotted Marked in my bookshop and was intrigued. I was still fresh and grasping for any type of Vampire lore after Twilight(c'mon, we've all read it!) and at first I sincerely enjoyed Marked and the next few House of Night novels that followed.
I think it was when I finished around the fifth or sixth book that the fatigue of reading these books happened. I had stopped buying them and was only reading them when I spotted the next title on the library shelf. Basically, I didn't think they were worth spending my money on.
I'll skip forward now and get to Hidden. Okay, so what is it about Zoey that every single guy has to have her? I mean, the only Vampyre that hasn't wanted to jump her bones is Darius and that's cause he is very firmly Aphrodite's property...and no-one messes with her.
Stark and Heath were enough and now she was happy with Stark and then boom, along comes Aurox who apparently contains Heath's soul.... *big sigh*
And I fail to understand how again and again and again, throughout the books, Neferet just gets away with all sorts of going on in the House of Night and noone believes her until now...it's crazy she hasn't been properly outed by people that weren't teenagers before.
The author is a good writer!I enjoy her novellas, and the one Goddess Summoning novel I read was really enjoyable and I'm going to start the Goddess of Partholon series. But the House of Night needs to close down!!
This series just makes me crazy and it's making me ramble like a fool but it just started with so much potential and failed so miserably. I'm only reading them now because I've come to far with them to stop and want to see how the story ends.....if it ever ends cause it feels like it's been going on forever!!
And if I hear the word 'bullpoopie' again...I will stab someone in the eye with a fork!
