I chose this for my library's Book to Art Club, and I am very pleased with it. Following three characters whose lives become entwined in 198o NYC. Art critic James is THE hot voice of the art scene in New York in large part due to his synesthesia. Artist Raul has escaped Argentina, leaving his sister and her son behind, but is on the cusp of fame. Young Lucy from Idaho is trying to make her dream of living in the big city a reality. All three will collide, hurting and helping those around them and each other.

I'm looking forward to exploring this story and its themes via a neon name-art inspired project!
