i read this for the "Set In Winter" part of my 2020 reading challenge. "Not your grandmother's Nutcracker tale" was right, this was fantastic. It was dark and violent romantic and I enjoyed that the fairies were the ones bringing technology in instead of the other way around. I'm glad it ended the way it did.
