My first Moreno-Garcia novel (I'm yet to read Mexican Gothic). I know Meche is supposed to be quite a contrary character- as a child and as an adult- but that really didn't work for me.

Te power dynamic as the kids discovered their powers was really interesting to read and I felt like I was really following them through Mexico City a few decades ago.
