The first half of the book was really good, and the second one was perfection.
The end, with the Clave's reaction to the events of the book angered me sooo much. That treaty with the Seelies is obviously abusive (and very like that that was forced on Germany at the end of WW1), and their treatment of Hellen is just awful. Made me wanna jump into the book and shake the sense back into them.
Just crying over the fact that Will's descendent is the reason Jem can be free now. And the reason he could do that is thanks to the descendent of his Lightwood and Fairchild family 🥹🥹ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
