challenging dark informative reflective medium-paced

It was interesting but only fine. SO much of the book focused on motherhood which made me check out about halfway through. Although the second half spends a good bit of time talking about gender essentialism, there was still a great deal of discussion on the more ~divine feminine~ aspect of Ecofeminism (thus still being reductionist and essentialist bc the author did not counter any points). I was also hoping for a more expansive view of WHO witches were and the focus was mostly on unwed, childless cis women. There was barely discussion on sexuality and NONE on gender.
Overall, it was fine but not something I would revisit (nor was it different from similar books on the same topic).
