not great; not terrible. some practical advice for relationships, despite being fiction. internal monologue of main character was one dimensional, she reminded me of someone I don't like. she was put in a bad situation and it's valuable to imagine the other outcomes and how I might have responded in a similar situation. the food descriptions and the tour of NYC through the author's eyes were worthwhile. I probably wouldn't read this author again. forgettable.
