What a weird book. It's a lot funnier than I expected it to be. The prose is very beautiful at times. 

Ishmael is delightfully nerdy about everything to do with whales an whaling 🐋

The plot moves along veeeery sloooowly. It's a bit of a slog most of the time. 

Also 6/5 stars for the narrator, I'll be thinking about his 'there she blows!!!!' for a while
