Respectfully, the most credit I can give to the negative reviews of this is that there should be trigger warnings for sexual assault and experimenting on children, and drug abuse. The rest are due to people treating Peter Pan as a precious child who must be protected. Don't read this book if you're afraid of stories of Peter Pan that frame him as a predator who takes children, despite that being an easy conclusion from the source material.

My biggest criticism here is that not much happens. It's quite a boring book, despite having really intriguing concepts and theories about Peter. I appreciated the magic and the way it was framed, but unfortunately, this is neither a fantasy nor a thriller, and instead settles in as boring, as if our author wasn't quite sure what genre they really wanted to lean into, and thus chose none.
