This is such a weird book, not really my cup of tea. I’ve been wondering for some time if horror just isn’t my genre, or if I haven’t found the right horror/mystery book yet. I’ve read a few now that were okay but I could just as easily have DNF’ed them if I would actually DNF books (I don’t like to because it feels like quitting 😬). Same goes for this one. It just wasn’t a very enjoyable read. I was confused most of the time, which is what’s supposed to happen, I guess. But also, this book is kinda boring imo 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m sorry 😬 
I was trying to figure out what the hell was going on and at the same time struggling through chapters in which nothing really happens. I had to switch to the audiobook to even make it to the end. After finishing the book and reading the author’s note I understand it better but pfew… I’m glad I’m done now 🫣
