The Night Circus has a love letter to the antiquated venue of the circus. Based on the descriptions as times, I could almost smell the popcorn and other foods. It was original, very detail oriented, mysterious and kept me intrigued til the end. The multiple timelines and locations threw me until I decided to just concentrate on the years. There were many characters, some more integral than others, and it took me a minute to remember them. Everything came together when I just concentrated on the story. The love story was nice, but I didn’t connect with it. Seemed frivolous, because they barely knew each other, but there were some heartfelt moments.
