Gorgeous watercolor work, great backstory, and I briefly wondered if the warriors of Kyoshi Island are related to the Amazons of the opening pages.

I wasn't thrilled to see the Amazon with brain damage used as a vehicle for delivering the moral in simplistic terms (it felt like magical-Negroism) but I otherwise liked this a lot.
