Two Can Play by Ali Hazelwood
4.5

4.5 stars, It would be 5 stars, but I just wish Ali would take a break from some of her "he hates me, jk it was insta-love" just a little bit. We know what we are getting with Ali Hazelwood, and I am lucky that I tend to like her style,

Two rival videogame designers, on a work retreat, forced to get a long for the sake of their jobs & their own personal motives. One thing Ali Hazelwood nails every time is making characters that are the best to ever do it at whatever they do. I am a sucker for competency, it's my biggest turn on apparently. This book conflict is almost exclusively the miscommunication trope, but it was nice that it came from a place of respect. Most shocking of all, is that I feel satisfied with the characters, & the plot which is really uncommon for a novella.

If you love the trademark Ali Hazelwood plot. If you are looking for a FMC that is a bubbly and kind& a consent king MMC. If you like mutual pining & have a 4 hours to burn. This book is for you!
