I really did like this book. It's an alright, okay type of book. Didn't really feel like a waste of time, but also not astounding at the same time. Not sure how else to explain it, but it gave me A24 vibes. The subject matter is interesting and makes you sit and think about it without being tacky. I don't like the part about the main character drinking while being pregnant. Like I felt a bit frustrated while reading those parts. However, it adds up with everything else going on in the story. For this being a lot of feelings packed into a novel that's under 200 pages, it's alright.
