Edgedancer is a novella that takes place between Words and Radiance and Oathbringer. We meet our main character Lift during an interlude in Words of Radiance and then follow her in this novella.
I really enjoyed Lift’s character and her spren Wyndle. I love how she thinks he is a voidbringer, when we know he really isn’t. I love seeing her use her powers and how she has to eat food to metabolize Stormlight. It’s super cool. She’s deceitful and a lot of fun. I enjoyed her adventure. Also, I loved how obsessed she was over pancakes.
